Juan Alberto Pintos was born in the town of Florida, Uruguay, he arrived to Canada in August 1970 with his wife Tina, promptly devoting himself to fully adapt to the new homeland, to build a future for his family and getting involved in community service in the emerging and slowly arriving Hispanic community.
Member of many Hispanic institutions since their founding, he is also a member and leader for many years of the beloved Uruguayan Club of Toronto. He was president of the Club during two periods and a member of the board of directors for several years.
In his career, was the founder of El Faro Spanish Newspaper, editor of El Popular, participated in almost all news programs on radio and television in Spanish until about 1995, besides being member or director of various sports clubs in Toronto.
His main bussines concern has always been in sales, after selling vehicles for three of the largest companies in the market (Addison Cadillac, Venture Ford and Dean Myers), since 1988 is dedicated to the sale of real estate and with his team known as "The Family Pintos" operates for Re / Max Premier Inc. along with his daughter Anahi and son-in-law Gustavo Cardozo. Together their have been able to forge a very good reputation in the industry as well as being part of the coveted Re/Max Hall of Fame.
Today, with a family consisting of his children Cuarai, Cuimbae, Anahi and their granddaughters Amia and Lara, he resides in Vaughan and continue to support the community through their business, while working and getting involved in projects such as "Group Toronto to support Rural Schools in Florida Uruguay", "Special Olympics", and Group Mano con Mano" and of course all the activities of his beloved club Uruguay.
